Mehnaz Siddiqui Associate

Mehnaz studied law at the University of Westminster and, following qualification as a solicitor in 2003, spent several years in a busy private client department of a well-known regional law firm before joining us in 2007. She specialises in tax planning for high net worth individuals and the drafting of complex and tax-efficient wills for a wide variety of clients including those with assets in foreign jurisdictions and with family business interests. Mehnaz also has experience in pre- and post-death inheritance tax mitigation and the administration of complex taxable estates. In addition, Mehnaz has extensive experience in dealing with the Public Guardianship Office in respect of Receivership Applications and the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney. Mehnaz is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having been awarded the highest mark in the UK for the Administration of Trusts paper in 2007 and is also a member of the Probate Section of the Law Society. She was appointed an Associate of the firm in 2009. |
